Hilltop Securities Raises $75K for Children’s Health

Hilltop Securities Inc. and its team have come together to raise $75,000 for the 2019 Alliance Data Red Balloon Run and Ride (RBRR) in support of Children’s Health, one of the nation’s top pediatric health care providers. This year’s generous donation combines over $50,000 from dedicated employees and the firm’s $20,000 sponsorship.

Since HilltopSecurities’ fresh start in 2016, they’ve zeroed in on pediatric health care as a key part of their corporate social responsibility, donating over $285,000 to Passion for Children’s, the organization behind RBRR.

Brad Winges, the CEO of HilltopSecurities, is impressed by the commitment of his team. “It’s commendable to see our busy workforce so passionately raise funds for such a vital cause,” he remarked. Brent Christopher, the head of Children’s Medical Center Foundation, echoed this sentiment, praising HilltopSecurities for their unwavering support and innovative fundraising.

To gather funds, HilltopSecurities initiated a national campaign, hosting competitions, contests, and sales. They also sponsored the RBRR Team Tent Zone, and on the event day, many employees volunteered, accompanied by the company’s live buffalo mascot.

Their generosity extends further. HilltopSecurities’ employees are also active with other initiatives like the Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and Dallas’ Phoenix House.

For those unfamiliar, the Alliance Data Red Balloon Run and Ride is a yearly fundraising event held at the Children’s Medical Center Plano in Texas.
